A-Ha – Norwegian trio formed by Morten Harket (born 14/9/1959, Konigsberg, vocals) Pal Waaktaar (born 6/9/1961, Oslo, guitar) and Magne ‘Mags’ Furuholmen (born 1/11/1962, Oslo, keyboard).

They moved to London in January 1983 and signed with Warners in late 1983.

Furuholmen chose their name, a simple exclamation, known all over the world.

The group went into semi-retirement in 1995 in order to undertake individual projects.

Harket recorded a solo album and Waaktaar formed ‘Savoy’, before reforming in 1999.
